What people usually ask
Stones, metals, sizing, timings, what happens once you have ordered. If it is about money or about your own piece, text me instead and I will answer.
How long does a piece take?
A few weeks from the day you approve the design, and I give you a date then. An unusual centre stone is usually what stretches it; the bench work is predictable.
Do I see it before it is made?
Yes, always. It is rendered in your metal and stone from every angle, and changed until you are happy with it. Nothing gets cast until you say so.
What if the size is wrong?
I will resize it once for free, within reason. Past a point the proportions stop working, and a few designs cannot be resized at all: a full eternity ring has stones the whole way round, so there is nowhere to cut. Those get measured carefully before casting. If you are unsure of your size, ask me for a ring kit and measure at home first.
Where is the jewellery made?
At specialist workshops, chosen for the piece and for where you are. Some of them also make for well-known jewellery houses.
Are the stones certified?
Centre stones come with their own grading certificate, from GIA, IGI or HRD. The stones come straight from the trade rather than through a shop, which is why the prices are what they are.
Why is there no price on the pieces?
The stone decides it. The same ring can be made around a much smaller or a much larger stone, so a single number on the page would mean very little. Ask and you will have a real figure the same day.
What happens after I receive it?
It is guaranteed, with re-plating and cleaning included. Repairs go back to the bench that made it.
Who am I actually buying from?
From me. I work with specialist workshops for the making and the service afterwards, but I am the one you talk to and the one you buy from.
